Scope and contact
This policy covers the Damn Cam iOS app and this support website, provided by Feng Lin. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact 2128856996@qq.com.
Photos and item content
Capture, subject detection, cutout processing and item creation take place on the device. The app stores selected or captured images, created items, notes, favorites, folders, associated dates and presets locally. Photo dates are used for organization. We do not collect photos for advertising or operate an upload service to analyze them.
Device permissions
Camera access enables capture. Photos access enables browsing permitted photos, importing selected images and saving exports. Motion data supports foreground item and capsule interactions. Local network access supports nearby gifting. Manage permissions in iOS Settings; disabling one affects the corresponding feature. The app does not request Contacts, Microphone or Location access.
Gifting and sharing
When you initiate a transfer, the selected items, packaging artwork, dates and necessary item information are sent to the chosen recipient. Nearby gifting uses an encrypted device-to-device connection. Exported gifts and system sharing follow the method you choose. Recipients can retain received content. Temporary transfer packages are cleaned up after transfer confirmation; completion or pending records help avoid duplicate receipt and incorrect removal of items.
Purchases and accounts
Apple handles production in-app purchases. The app uses verified product and transaction information to determine ownership, subscription validity and refunds or revocations. The developer does not receive complete payment card information. No separate Damn Cam account is required. Apple services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
Local storage and iCloud
iCloud sync is off by default and is available to all users who choose to enable it. Collected item images, presets, notes, favorites, dates, folders, placements and gift records are stored through Apple CloudKit in your private iCloud database, using your iCloud storage to sync the library under the same Apple Account. Pending photos and items inside the gacha machine are not synced. We do not operate a public item database or use these materials for advertising or analysis. The app keeps sync versions, deletion markers and a one-way account identifier digest locally to resolve conflicts and avoid mixing accounts. Sync runs on app opening, content changes or manual request and requires a network connection and available iCloud storage. Ordinary deletions and gifted-away items propagate to devices with sync enabled. Turning sync off does not delete existing local or cloud content. Clear Data removes local items and turns sync off; re-enabling sync downloads cloud items again. Changing iCloud accounts pauses sync until you return to the original account. You can also remove this app’s cloud data through iOS iCloud storage management; sync pauses when the app detects that its cloud library was removed. Older test builds without sync continue to save locally only.
Retention, deletion and support email
Delete individual items in the app or clear local item data in Saving & Privacy. Clearing cache does not delete items. Local deletion does not cancel Apple purchases or subscriptions, or delete copies shared with others or saved to Photos. Clearing items retains purchase rights, settings and gift records; records can be managed on the gifting page. If you email us, your address, message and attachments are used to handle your request and necessary follow-up. You may request deletion through the address above, except for information that must be retained by law.
Website and other services
This site has no ads, behavioral analytics scripts, sign-in or upload forms. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, access times and requests necessary to serve and secure the site. Email and linked external services are operated by their respective providers. We do not sell personal information or track you across apps.

We update this page and its date when features or data practices change. Processing that requires additional permission will first ask for your consent.
