Where can I revisit the guide?
Press and hold the Damn Cam logo at the top left of the app to open the guide and revisit individual actions.
Why can’t I capture, import or save a photo?
Open Damn Cam in iPhone Settings and check Camera and Photos permissions. Only selected photos are used for making items. Saving to Photos requires permission. Instant-photo mode is for capturing the moment and does not import existing photos.
How do I restore purchases or resolve a redemption issue?
Production purchases are handled by Apple. Use the Apple Account used for the purchase, then choose Restore Purchases on the relevant purchase page. Manage monthly membership in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Acrylic charms and albums are separate purchases and do not expire with membership. Contact support with the error message if redemption fails; there is no need to send the full code. Simulated unlocks in test builds are not production purchases.
What if nearby gifting cannot connect or is interrupted?
Both people should open Damn Cam, keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, and allow local network access. The recipient opens Receive Nearby Gift. Check the device code before confirming. If a transfer leaves a pending record, reconnect with the same person to confirm the result instead of repeatedly repackaging the gift.
Does clearing the cache delete my items?
In Settings → Saving & Privacy, Clear Cache only removes previews that can be regenerated. Clear Data deletes local items and their materials. Keep a copy of anything you need before clearing data. Deleting the app also removes its local data.
Are my items already synced to iCloud?
All users can enable sync in Settings → Saving & Privacy → iCloud. Use the same Apple Account and check that synchronization has completed. Sync includes collected library items, their presets, notes, favorites, folders, placements and gift records. Pending photos and items still in the gacha machine remain on the device. Complete sync before changing phones or deleting the app. Restore Purchases restores purchase rights only.
